Nails of the Day! Accent Nail!

Nail polish I'm wearing:
Essie -Mink Muffs
Accent Nail: Color Club -London Calling

Accent Nails are very trendy and a easy way to add color and fun to your style.
I love these two colors together. They really compliment eachother.
Essie and Color Club are two great nail polish brands. Essie lasts the longest on my nails compared to any other polish.
I bought this Essie polish from Target for $8.
My Color Club polish came in a birchbox. The full size of this is also $8 but I have found sets of four of the Color Club small polishes at marshalls for $5. What a great deal.
If you're wondering the app I used for Bokeh, I use Pics Art to edit my photos.

Thanks for reading!

NYX Mosaic Powder Blush - 05 Silk

NYX Mosaic Powder is a very lovely blush!
It is very creamy and nicely pigmented.
This particular shade is lovely for a blush and bronzer in one. I love taking it from the back of the cheek on to the apples. Even to give my entire face some color.
I recieved mine in my Ipsy glam bag, but you can get yours on  Nyxcosmetics.com for $7. You get 5.7g of product.
I've done some swatches of all the shades seperate, and swirled all together!

I am loving these blushes!
Which NYX blush would you recommended?

My favorite lotion EVER! Queen Helene Coco Butter - Hand and Body Lotion

Queen Helene Coco Butter lotion is my favorite lotion ever! I use this every single day all over my body. I have used many lotions in the past but nothing compared to the way this makes my skin look.

-This lotion has natural coco butter and lanolin in it which is very good for moisture-starved skin.
- Natural protection against drying effects of sun and wind.
-Helps diminish the appearance of wrinkles! I have been using this for years and its so nice to be putting something that diminishes wrinkles all over my skin everyday.
-Relieves itchy stretched skin from pregnancy.

This lotion is so good for your skin. There's so many high priced lotions with tons of fragrance that are good but in my opinion, I love how natural this lotion is and the results I've got from this lotion over the years is exactly what I was looking for. I love my skin and I owe it to this coco butter!
This isn't as thick as an actual coco butter either so its not greasy, so don't worry about that.
The best thing about this lotion is the price! This cost me $2.30 and I'm getting 32 oz. What a great deal!
I buy mine at Dollar General and Walmart!

I had to share my favorite lotion with you, if you're looking for a new lotion, give this one a try!
I'd love to hear some of your favorites!!

Review and photos of the Giveaway items I won!! From Joy Carey at PureJoyMakeup!

I'm so excited to be posting my products I won from Joy Carey's giveaway! All her info is at the bottom!

-First product was the perfume, Paris Hilton- Passport. This smells so good. It lasts all day and I don't have to reapply, so its going to last me a very long time.

-Second product is the Revlon Super lustrous lipgloss in the shade 020 Pink Afterglow. This is the most beautiful lipgloss. I love the shimmer it has in it, it makes me small lips looks so much bigger and plump. It has a soft pink color to it and it lasts on the lips. I love putting this over top other lip products. I feel like it makes any lip product look even better!

-Last product is the L.A. Colors 3 color eyeshadow pallet in the shade LOTUS. These eyeshadows are such good quality. They are very pigmented. They are a great price so they are definitely worth trying.

Go check out the swatches ↓ and let me know what you think!! xxErika

How To Get Perfect Winged Liner!

How To Get Perfect Winged Liner:

One of the most important steps is to make sure the end point of the wing is pointed to the end of your brow.
If you have a idea of were to line up the wing, both wings will be the same.

Start at the inner corner and draw a thin line of gel or liquid liner all the way across. When you know where to draw the wing, start making a line with your eyes open, then tilt your head back and connect that line to the beginning of the wing and to the first line. You can go back and make the liner thicker after you have your basic shape.

For the last step, go in with a concealer on some kind of flat concealer brush, or even a lip brush, and even up the edge of the liner to make sure its completely straight and sharp.

You can use gel, liquid, pencil or eyeshadow. Gel and liquid liners are longer lasting and more bold. Pencil is easy to work with and  great if you want to smudge it or make it a little smokey. Eyeshadow is probably the easiest to work with just because its more forgiving. It gives a softer effect. If you really want to create that strong bold cat eye, I would suggest a gel or liquid liner.

Some of my favorite liners for a winged eye:

-Maybelline Gel liners are great! They are a great price and come with an eyeliner brush which is really nice.
-Sumita Suman Contrast Eye Pencil is such an amazing liner. For a pencil liner, it is very long lasting, smooth, pigmented and stays put!

Practice makes perfect with this! I hope these tips help! I've took some pictures of eyeliner products to show you some of my favorites for a winged liner!
